This weekend we really had a chance to unwind and relax. Friday night Mike and I layed on the couch and watched two movies. Saturday we got up early and went to breakfast at my favorite, "The Original Pancake House" and took Dodger to the Indoor Dog Park. Later that night we had dinner with Courtney and Colby and little Walker. He slept all through dinner and was so good and then we headed home to meet my brother and his girlfriend who were staying with us. Sunday we all went to brunch and to see the Hangover. It was a good movie, very funny if a little raunchy.
After that I took advantage of having another man around and he and Mike hung the rest of the stuff in the nursery and house. I had to get a picture of the boys debating exactly where to put the butterflies. Too funny!
Also here is a picture of my lovely cankles! I spent most of the weekend trying to get the swelling down to no avail!

Awe Sarah your poor feet! I remember it so well. And they only swell more after the baby arrives. But she'll be here soon and you'll be so in love that having cankles won't even matter!! ;)
So glad that Lacey mentioned the part that they don't instantly go away. I suffered badly when pregnant with Grey...I even used support hose the last week or 2! I kept telling myself that it would disappear as soon as Grey arrived and was so disappointed to see that it took several days, if not a week or so, for them to dissipate. With the hormone roller coaster, it made it worse so just be aware. Lacey is right that it doesn't matter in the end, but being a girl you sometimes lose perspective. :-) Mike's encouragement will do wonders for you so you might want to prep him now! Ha!
I think you should just stay on the couch and let Mike cater to you...that will get those ankles to go away!! And do not stress about labor. As crazy as it sounds, I loved it...and can't wait to do it again!! Maybe she'll be here early and you'll have her next week...like Tristan!
