I am getting behind on our updates so here is the latest over the last month...
We are STILL trying to sell the house. Have had a bunch of showings but no offers yet. I just swapped out all the old appliances for stainless ones to update the kitchen. Thanks to my friend Courtney, I got a wonderful deal. Amy had the smart idea to spray paint the handles to clean them up a bit and it was a brilliant and cheap idea! Mike swapped out the lighting and now it looks more modern.
Baby Z still has no name! She is kicking and moving around and we are getting excited to meet her in the next few months. I have been feeling pretty good although it is very different being a mom and pregnant this time. No time for naps :)
Sadie is now a two and a half year old, so hard to believe! Here is what she has been up to lately:
- We went to NC to see Nichole, Greg, Jack and Claire in January. Sadie and I had so much fun! She loves Jack and Claire and we still get to facetime them. Thanks Nichole and Greg for a great time!
- Sadie is still going to "school" two days a week and her teachers say she listens really well and is very quiet! She must store it all up because when she gets home she is a chatterbox!
- She knows all her ABC's and loves to sing the ABC song.
- She loves puzzles and can do a 12 piece puzzle by herself.
- Still no interest in potty training at all. She is more than ready, but i have not forced it yet.
- She loves Toy Story movies, Tinkerbell, Tangled and loves talking about the characters.
- She loves playing with babies, feeding them, dressing them, talking to them. When she hears one cry she says "aww baby is sad wants its Sadie" I think she is getting ready to be a big sister.
- She tells me that she has a baby brother in her tummy and talks about baby sister all the time.
- She is a monkey and loves to run, play hide and seek and play at the park
- She loves her Daddy and can't wait for him to get home to run with her
- Sadie has also gotten into the whiny phase! She can throw a good fit when she wants too.
