Getting Crafty

Pouty Pants! This is one of the many new etsy purchases that I have made.

I have had some fun lately with Pinterest. Here is the project that I have completed. I picked out the fabric to be fall themed and just cut and knotted the fabric around a wire wreath. Then used wired ribbon to make a bow. Super easy and hopefully will make our front door appealing to potiential buyers because we are officially back on the market!

He said it was because the 4th year anniversary is flower and we went to Hawaii on our honeymoon. He is so sweet and thoughtful and I am lucky to have such a wonderful husband!

Sadie loves walker

I have been so bad about my blog and am overdue for an update. Sadie is just growing and becoming a little girl. These pictures are from the phone and Amy's phone over the last month. She talks and sings non-stop. I guess waiting until closer to two, she had a lot to say. We have really been having a ton of fun with our "big girl" lately.

  • Sadie says she is not a baby and is a "big girl" all the time. She has been asserting her Independence and whining more, but still is a sweet cuddle bug.

  • 2 yr check up- 30lbs (85%), Height 34 3/4 (77%), HC 49 (90%)

  • She knows every one's names and likes to tell everyone what to do. For example. "meme sit right there" She calls my mom "mimi" my dad "gandi" Mike's dad "pop pop ron" Mikes mom "Daddy's Mommy"

  • She says her prayers on her own and is so sweet. She closes her eyes and says "mommy, daddy, Sadie amen" melt.my.heart

  • She knows her numbers 1-12 and seems to prefer to count in 3's I love her little voice saying lala for 11

  • She knows her letters and can spell her name. She loves to point to letters and tell us which one it is.

  • She loves to sing and jump. She says "I jump" all the time.

  • She refuses to sit on the potty, but will tell me when she needs a new diaper and has peed or pooped.

  • She has a new routine of coming into our room in the morning with all her animals and pillow and getting in my face and says "all done sleep mommy". this morning it was at 5 am. She has never been much of a sleeper!

  • She loves Dora and Boots and any band aid. She wants "boo boo" on both knees. She also loves "girl" (Tinkerbell).

  • She says her name is "Sadie Grace"

  • She loves to play with babies and stuffed animals. She has tea parties for them and cooks for them.

  • She is a picky eater now, refusing to eat if she doesn't want it.

  • She loves to tell us what we are doing now, brush teeth then bath. Routine is very important to her.

  • She remembers everything now. She locked us out of the bathroom and I had to use one of her cards to try to open the door. A week later she mimicked that same thing. So funny.

Sadie you are such a joy to us and are so sweet and smart. We love you so much.
