We have an official one year old! Wow so hard to believe, this year has flown by. I have learned so much and am amazed by this little girl every day. From the moment I met her, I knew she would change my life and she has. The first 5 months were rough and there were times I wondered if I was cut out for this, but the last seven have been better and better. Sadie has such a personality and is so full of joy. We are so blessed to be her parents.

We celebrated Sadie's birthday with a low key family party at Grimadies, our favorite pizza spot. Mike's mother and grandmother came in on wednesday and we have had so much fun hanging out with Grandma June and GG. Sadie has been cracking up at them. My parents drove up for the day and we were so glad to see them. Amanda and Nathan, Catherine, Michael and Elise, Courtney, Colby and Walker, Kelley, Amy and Alyssa all joined us for some birthday fun! We appreciate such great friends who love Sadie too!

I can't wait to see what the next year holds. Happy Birthday Sadie Grace!

Fun in MP

Last weekend, Sadie, Dodger and I drove to MP to meet our newest member of the family, Rita Maeline Durrum. She is so precious and a perfect baby. She sleeps and eats all the time and hardly ever cries! Big bro Matthew is loving his new sister too. Sadie was more interested in Matthew but she got a little jealous when I held Rita too long!

This week our baby turns one! So hard to believe :) I will have to post about all I have learned and how my life has changed in the last year.
