Today I am 32 weeks, I have posted a new picture below. I am feeling more and more tired and hot. A sign in Arlington said it was 106 today, that is crazy! I have officially taken off my rings and am wearing old lady shoes :) When I got home from work today, I crashed out for an hour and woke up in a pile of drool. I hope I can make it with this heat the next 8 weeks, next time I will do my best to plan for a winter baby :)
Hope all of you are doing well and thank you for your continued prayers!

Baby Shower

vq=3262>896>:<3>WSNRCG=327;7:673;32

This last Saturday was my baby shower. My friend Amanda had it at her house and hosted it along with Nichole, Courtney, Catherine, Lacy and Amber. Thank you all so much for a wonderful shower and for being such great friends. Thank you Nichole and Lacy for flying in for traveling all this way to see me! I loved visiting with friends and catching up with people I had not seen in a while. McCall was sweet enough to drive up for the shower and she looks great with her baby bump. I am so blessed to have such sweet, supportive friends and coworkers!
The baby is almost all set for her arrival. We are trying to organize and decorate the nursery.
It is hot and humid outside and getting in and out of the car all day is a killer. I have been taking prenatal water areobics to keep the swelling away and that is a fun class. Next week I will post a 32 week picture.
Thanks again for all the goodies, prayers and well wishes!

Baby Care Class

This weekend we attended our baby care class and baby CPR class. It was fun to see Mike change the diaper and swaddle. The class taught us about bathing, feeding, schedules etc and left me with my head spinning. We also took a class on baby CPR, poison prevention and what to do if the baby is choking. I have to admit I was a bit freaked out by all the info and the worst case scenarios.
I can tell I am in my 3rd trimester now, the energy of the second seems to be leaving quickly. That could be because I now have cankles (yes, they are lovely) and wake up with either heartburn or to pee every two hours :) The good thing is that she is moving a ton and our last ultrasound last week shows she is developing perfectly. Only 10 more weeks (give or take) to go! She weighs almost 3 lbs as of Thursday, getting to be big! The Doc also said she has some hair. I was bald until I was 1 so she must get that from her Dad.
We have been enjoying getting our nursery ready now that we have the furniture and bedding. I will post some pictures once it is complete. This weekend is my baby shower so I am looking forward to getting to see some friends. Hope everyone has a great week!
Trip to San Antonio
The last week in May, Mike and I took a road trip down to San Antonio. We had a great time eating, lying by the pool and exploring the riverwalk. It was a very low-key relaxing get-away! Here are some pics.
