3 Cravings

Many people have asked what my cravings have been so I thought I would share 3 with you..


1. I can't live with out Tums, I have heartburn all day long and it wakes me up at night. I had it before I got pregnant sometimes, so I guess I just get to amplify it more. My mom said she also had it with all of us. So although I am sick of Tums, they work pretty well and I have a bottle with me at all times :)






2. The other day after a half day in the field with my rep and a large cheeseburger, I came home to write the annual reviews for my team. I woke up 4 hours later covered in drool on the couch with my computer. I can't seem to stay awake during the day but am up all night.. So my other craving is my sleep. I can't wait until I stop waking up to pee every 3 hours at night, and I know Mike can't either!

3. My final craving is the best and most fun! I have been obsessed and have these hidden in drawers, car, purse etc.. They also help with heartburn (or so I tell myself) at night. When I visit my dentist next week, he may hate me but I can't get enough of gummy bears and sour patch kids!

Based on Lockies's great advice, I am taking back (well making Mike take back and say that I am crazy, hormonal you know the usual) the medicine that we bought that is unopened for a refund around $200 and from now on we are headed to MP for our vet visits, it is a good excuse to visit anyway :). Thanks Lockie!

So today I took Dodger to the vet because he has been licking and scratching his booty a lot lately. TMI, I know. He hasn't seemed like his usual spunky self and he has been having accidents in the house (on my new rug!!! which made me wonder if he didn't like it or he was sick).


I dropped him off at our vet because they were booked today, I think that was a mistake! When I picked him up today I discovered a bill for almost $400??? Apparently he has some food allergy and now has to be on a fish diet. They gave him omega-3's (for his coat and skin?), antibiotics and a bag of $44 food. I am wondering if I just got taken advantage of because of my love for my sweet furry baby and/or crazy "city" vets. My parents always laugh at the vet's advice here (wheat free treats, organic treats etc.) It's like they have never heard of Walmart dog food and Milkbones.

Anyone else have pet's with food allergies?? What have you done for them. How can you resist this sweet face?????

Farewell 1st trimester..............

Hi! We went to the doctor on Monday and got to see the munchkin again, Doctor says that he/she is progressing beautifully. We have a DVD of the appointment and it is so cool, the baby is flipping and waving and moving all around. If I can figure out how to post it, I will. My mom got to come to the appointment with us and it was so neat for her to see the ultrasound and her grandchild. We also had fun shopping and going to dinner and a chickflick, I love it when she comes to visit!

I am posting another scanned picture, thanks for the suggestions on the USB Lacey but they wouldn't do it. I need to get a bit more techie to download stills from the video. Anyway here is a great profile shot!

BTW all you Moms out there my doctor was asking me about cordblood registry. Did anyone do cordblood registry???

Doctor's Visit- 11.5 weeks

Mike and I had our Dr visit on Friday and had another ultrasound. The baby was moving all around, it was amazing. He/She is developing on track and seems to be growing rapidly! I am still really tired, but am very relieved after this visit. I had a lot of blood taken for all the genetic tests etc, please pray that everything is ok. We go back on the 9th for an NTS ultrasound. This looks at how the organs and everything are developing, I am just excited to see the baby again! I scanned in the ultrasound pictures so they aren't that clear, I will post more from next time.
